Shoot with More Comfort,
Accuracy and Endurance
Most shooters struggle with the punishing effects of recoil, so we’ve created a hydraulic recoil pad that utilizes dampening technology borrowed from the aerospace industry that dramatically reduces recoil:
- 80% Less Recoil Energy
- 35% Less Muzzle Lift
- 25% Less Peak Force
- 35% Less Rock Back
to give shooters greater accuracy, less flinching and more time shooting. No grinding necessary!

3 out of 5 Too thick

Overall I like this products function and design. It fit perfectly and was easy to install. My only concern, and I was concerned when I ordered mine was the added L.O.P. I am very reluctant to cut the stock of my 725 with adjustable comb and not be able to reshape this pad. I have tried shooting targets with it this winter with my winter shooting coat and had to switch back to the factory pad to be competitive. I will try it again this summer with just my vest. I hope it will be usable. Martin was easy to work with and was very helpful with shortening the comb adjusting screw. I feel this is a reputable company and they want to please their customers. Also the extra weight of the mounting system changed the balance and feel of the shotgun that I could maybe get used to but if there was a thinner pad I would rate it higher.

It seems a shame to forfeit the potential gain of reduced recoil because you did not want to cut your stock. Visit a reputable dealer and learn how little you would need to cut to achieve the same length of pull with a thicker pad.

3 out of 5 Slightly better than a slip on pad?
Fred Mason (verified owner) –
80% Less Recoil Energy, 35% Less Muzzle Lift, 25% Less Peak Force, 35% Less Rock Back was not found on my 416 Rigby The Rock Back is the same as with the slip on pad I had before. 25% Less Peak Force is perhaps been achieved? Muzzle Lift is the same as before. Maybe 50% Less Recoil Energy but 80% should make it all but disappear? It looks a lot better than than the old slip on pad. However at least with my 416 Rigby the results in felt recoil are far below your stated numbers.
